MT. VERNON - David B. Patton formerly of Howard, Ohio passed away on September 25, 2018 with his wife Lorna at his side.

David was born April 7, 1935 in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. David received his Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology from Pennsylvania State University, a Master’s degree of Science from the University of Washington and a Master’s degree in Business from Capital University. David enlisted in the United State Air Force and achieved the rank of Major, retiring in 1979. David is a past president of the Apple Valley Property Owners Association, he participated in Saint Luke’s Church Council and was active in Amateur Radio KC8UTL.

David is survived by his wife Lorna Patton. Daughter Kathryn (Patton) Stutz with children; Bonnie (Stutz) Peckham, Laura Stutz, Abigail Stutz. Son Regan Patton with children; Sara, Emmet, Jared and Heather. Son David S. Patton with children; Megan and Jeremiah. Step Son in-law James Coleman and preceded in death by step daughter Diana Coleman. Their children are; son James wife Lisa, daughters Laura and Kathleen. Step son Patrick Valentino.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday September 29, 2018 at Saint Luke’s 307 N Market St, Danville, Ohio 43014, visitation is at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow in St. Luke Cemetery with military honors by the Knox County Joint Veterans Council.

The family would like to thank; Brookdale Hospice and Brookdale of Mount Vernon for their care and compassion, Fischer Funeral Home in Danville, Ohio for making the arrangements.
