Danville – David Shaw, 77, passed away at home on Saturday, June 1, 2024.
David was born in Mount Vernon on January 6, 1947. He served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1968. He was a member of the North Bend Church of the Brethren, and he loved football and trains, and was an avid Lionel train collector.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Sally (Lagnese) Shaw. Surviving is his wife, Barbara (Maynard) Shaw; his children, Amy Shaw and Lisa Schoonover of Mansfield, and Stephanie Shaw of North Carolina; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Neil (Mary) Shaw of Mount Vernon; and sister, Anita Shaw of Danville.
No services are taking place. The Fischer Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
