Brinkhaven - Deloras J. "Dee" Goodpaster, 73, died Thursday, February 12, 2009 after a long illness at her home, of 15158 Twp. Rd. 4.
She was born April 19, 1935 in Zanesville, Oh. to Carl Raymond Bowers and Garnetta Louise (Campbell). She was a High School Graduate of Hebron High School. She has worked as a factory laborer and in Nursing all her life. And had been retired from VerMac Industries in Mt. Vernon since Dec. of 2005.
She is survived by her children: Marsha Edmond and husband, Dave, of Columbus, Donald Bowers of Thornville, Ray Brown Jr. and wife, Elizabeth of Flint Ridge, Penny Felkey, of Mt. Vernon, Warren Kuhn of Mt. Vernon, Sheena Orr of Somerset, Marie Strouse and husband, Dave of Brinkhaven,with whom she lived with, and Melinda Moran and husband, Jim, of Mt. Vernon. 10 Grandchildren: Sarah and Eddie fisher, Terri and Ronnie Bowers, Chrissy, Josh and Alicia Orr, Jolisha Strouse, Chelsie, and Dylan Moran. 13 Great Grandchildren: Katie, Jessica, Luke, Bryson, Mattie, Hunter, Josey, Carissa, Haley, Kaiden, Cameron, Alayna, and Chase.
She was preceded in death by her children; Kitty Brown, and Rodney Brown.
A visitation will be held in Dee's memory on Thursday February 19, 2009, from 5-7:00 P.M., at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville.
