Delores O. (Mencer) Finnell

UHRICHSVILLE- Delores Onieta (Mencer) Finnell, 93, died Saturday, March 5, 2022 at the Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia.

She was born Oct. 20, 1928 in Warsaw to the late Clifford E. and Lena Marie (Reese) Mencer. She was a 1946 graduate of Warsaw High School.

On Sept. 5, 1959, Delores married Frank R. Finnell, who preceded her in death on Sept. 5, 1999. She attended the First Christian Church in both Robinson, Illinois when she lived there, and in Ohio after moving back. She enjoyed reading, writing, and watching TV.

Delores is survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Mildred E. Seegers, Alice C. Mencer, and Ruth E. Knoblett; two brothers, Klines M. Mencer, Francis E. Mencer; and her step-father, Charles "Adam" Bucy.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2022 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw. Burial will follow in Coshocton Co. Memory Gardens. Visitation is one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
