Brinkhaven - Demas Mast, Jr., 84, of 1493 SR 206, died Tuesday August 11, 2009 at his residence.
He was born March 29, 1925 in Orrville to Saloma (Miller) and Demas Mast. On March 6, 1947, he was married to his wife Clara, who died October 6, 2004.
He is survived by his son; Freeman (Effie) Mast of Live Oak, FL, 4 daughters; Saloma (Dan) Yoder of Chrochranton, PA, Sarah (Raymond) Yoder of Brinkhaven, Rachel (Robert) Yoder of Morrisville, NY, and Arie (Freeman) Mast of Bloomfield, IA, 2 sisters; Emma (Christian) Schlabach of Orrville, and Katie (Issac) Hershberger of St. Patriot, 28 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren.
In additions to his wife, Demas was preceded in death by his parents, a son; Henry Mast, a daughter; Katie Ann Mast, 3 brothers; Eli, Noah, and Dan Mast, a sister; Anna Raber, and a grandchild; Adam Yoder.
Friends and family will be received at the residence. The funeral service will take place at the home of Ben Beachy, 33577 SR 206 Brinkhaven, at 9:00 A.M. on Friday August 14, 2009. Bishop Norman Yoder will officiate. Burial will be in Mast Cemetery in Richland Twp.
