Donald Poorman, Jr.

      COSHOCTON- Donald Poorman, Jr., 72, died Friday, Sept. 5, 2025 at Roscoe Gardens Skilled Nursing & Rehab.

      He was born April 1, 1953 in Warsaw to the late Joanne (Decker) and Donald R. Poorman, Sr. He drove truck for several years, and enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing, camping, and golfing. However, spending time with grandkids was at the top of the list.

      He is survived by his children, Leslie Poorman (Heather Kemp), Lavonda (Kenny) McCombs, and Clint Morris; several grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; his siblings, Sherry Murray (Jay Roth), Debbie Cable, Chris (Chandra) Poorman, and Dave (Sheila) Poorman; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Jessica & "Duck" Luthi-Green, and Chris & Brian Smith.

      In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Melanie Poorman, and Robin Poorman; his companion of many years, Carol Sanchez; and a brother-in-law, James Cable.

      A Memorial Service at a later date. Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw is handling arrangements.
