COSHOCTON- Donjean "Donna" Bowman, 68, died July 16 2010, at her home with her family by her side after a bravely fought battle with cancer.
The Bowman family will receive friends and loved ones on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 beginning at 10:00am at Prairie Chapel United Methodist Church 45494 CR 23, Coshocton, followed by a memorial service at 11:00am officiated by Pastor Jonathan Truax. Burial will take place later at South Lawn Cemetery.
Donna was born July 4, 1942 to Paul and Geneva McKee in Coshocton County. She graduated from Roscoe High School in 1960. Donna married her high school sweetheart Jerry E. Bowman, on June 10, 1962.
She was an active member of the Prairie Chapel United Methodist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir and working with the children's ministry and vacation bible school.
Her interest included family, church, arts crafts, and crocheting. Donna devoted much of her time to raising her four children and very much enjoyed attending the activities, performances and games of her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Bowman is survived by her husband of 48 years Jerry E. Bowman, daughter Amy Perry, sons Brad (Trace Kingham) Bowman, and Blake (Cheri) Bowman, daughter Mariann (Craig) Clarke. grandchildren Jasmine Perry, Nicholas and Donavan Bowman-Kingham, Miranda Bowman, Ashton, Couger, and Aubrie Clarke. sisters Sally (Jim) Nelson, Rita (Gary) Watson, brother John (Judy) McKee, brother-in-law Darold Miller, and many more cherished in-laws, nieces, nephews and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Geneva McKee, sisters Phyllis Ann McKee and Kay Miller and niece Kathy Jo Nelson.
