COSHOCTON- Doris Yvonne (Beck) Lowe, 85, of CR 24, died Monday, Nov. 18, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville.
She was born Aug. 20, 1928 in Dresden to the late Douglas O. and Laura Helen (King) Beck. She was a member of the Canal Lewisville United Methodist Church, and a past member of the Oak Grove Grange. She loved cooking, ceramics, gardening, crocheting, and watching hummingbirds.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Denver O. Lowe of Coshocton, whom she married on June 6, 1948, two sons; Gary (Linnet) Lowe of Coshocton, and Terry Lowe of Powell, five grandchildren; Jamie, Amanda, Michael, Marie, and Kevin, six great-grandchildren, a brother, Duane (Wanda) Beck of Coshocton, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Diane.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, Nov. 22, 2013 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Pastor Ron Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Canal Lewisville Cemetery. Calling hours are from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21st at the funeral home. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
