Coshocton- Douglas Ray Fitch, 54, of 1125 S. 16th St., died Thursday, Feb. 25, 2010 at the Genesis Hospice Morrison House in Zanesville.
He was born Aug. 7, 1955 in Coshocton to Raymond E. and Joan (Bowers) Fitch. He was a 1973 graduate of River View High School, and attended St. Petersburg Jr. College in Florida. He married Pamela H. (Hays) Fitch on Jan. 14, 1983. He was a member of the Coshocton Elks Lodge #376, and he enjoyed watching all sports.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela H. Fitch of Coshocton, two sons; Justin H. Fitch of Cuyahoga Falls, and Benjamin R. Fitch of Akron, his parents; Raymond & Joan Fitch of Coshocton, two brothers; David S. (Jerri) Fitch of Warsaw, and Jamie R. (Lisa) Fitch of Granville, six nieces and nephews, and several aunts and uncles.
He is preceded in death by one brother, Danny Fitch, an infant sister, and his grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw. A private interment will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Douglas R. Fitch Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 25, Warsaw, OH 43844.
