DANVILLE - Dzidra Renemans, 85 of 25640 Danville-Amity Road, passed away suddenly and peacefully June 26th 2016 to be with her Lord and Savior.
She was born January 10, 1931 in Krustpils, Latvia to Roberts and Minna Resnis. In 1948 Dzidra met Bruny Renemans while at a displaced persons camp in Germany, fell in love and were wed. They immigrated to America to begin their new lives. She and her husband settled in Danville Ohio where they were faithful members of Zion Lutheran Church.
She was employed at Patented Products for many years, in addition to babysitting children in her home. Dzidra enjoyed raising her children, crocheting beautiful blankets and scarves, bird watching, and gardening in her multitude of flower beds. She had a fervent passion and love for Jesus, her family, and her pets.
She is survived by her three sons, Ed (Laura) Renemans of Casper, WY, Bob (Kim) Renemans of Denver, Colorado, Dave (Carla) Renemans of Danville; a daughter Judy (Jeff) Urban of Danville; nine grandchildren, Nick (Chelsey) Renemans, Anita (James) Carpenter, Kelly Knight, Ryan Renemans, Christopher Renemans, Danny Renemans, Marty Renemans, Anna Lamb, Emmy Lamb; four great-grandchildren, Larissa Renemans, Ruby Renemans, Bridger Carpenter, Amelia Neitzelt; two brothers, John (Ilze) Resnis of Chardon, and Pete (Bonnie) Resnis of Loudonville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bruny Renemans, a sister Velta Resnis, a brother Evalds Resnis, and a granddaughter Larisa Renemans.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, July 1 at the Zion Lutheran Church. Pastor Tom Heil will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A luncheon will follow at the church. Visitation will be from 6-8 Thursday June 30 at the Fischer Funeral Home, 403 High St. Danville, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
