Mount Vernon - Edna Boling, 96, passed away Wednesday September 9, 2015 at The Laurels of Mount Vernon.
She was born June 2, 1919 in Union Township to the late Leroy and Estella Mae (Worley) Scoles. She was the last surviving member of the Scoles family, being preceded in death by 8 siblings. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack Boling, and a son, Arthur.
Edna is survived by two sons; Robert (Joyce) Boling of Mount Vernon, and Ralph (Linda) Boling of Tucson, AZ, granddaughters; Melissa Neer of Marysville, Kimberly (Rob) Bowman of Liberty Township, and Lisa Lahrman of Tucson, AZ, great grandchildren; Kayla Bowman of Liberty Township, and Michael Lahrman of Japan, 2 great-great granddaughters both of Japan, and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 19 in Valley Cemetery on Schenck Creek Rd. near Howard.
