Warsaw- Eileen Crawford, 80, of 36067 US 36, died Friday, May 30, 2008 at The Laurels of Mt. Vernon.
She was born July 4, 1927 in Spring Mountain to the late William G. and Cecilia N. (Hamer) Stone. She married Lewis E. Crawford, Sr. on May 31, 1945, whom preceded her in death on March 19, 2001. She attended Warsaw High School, worked at Towne-Sander for 18 years, and Wells Greenhouse for four years.
She was a member of the V.F.W. Post 1330 Auxiliary. She is survived by her daughter, Sue Ellen Crawford of Coshocton, son, Lewis E. (Linda) Crawford of Warsaw, brother, Fred E. (Helen) Stone of Coshocton, three sisters; Betty Sampsel of Layland, Janice Crowthers of Spring Mountain, and Joan (Art) Jones of Layland, four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is also preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 2, 2008 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Rev. Ron Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Coshocton Co. Memory Gardens. Calling hours are two hours prior to service time on Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
