Eileen M. Crise

June 26, 1957 — February 23, 2017

MT. VERNON- Eileen Maddock Crise, 59, passed away unexpectedly on Feb. 23rd, 2017 after a long battle with Myotonic Dystrophy.

She was born June 26, 1957 to Robert G. and Mary (Maddock) Crise. She graduated from Danville High School, and received a bachelor’s degree from Ashland College. She enjoyed music and theatre, and played flute. She lived and worked in Columbus until recently, and due to declining health lived the past few years with her father. Eileen enjoyed traveling and visited Europe several times. She liked to play Mahjong, collect pig figurines, and was also an avid reader. She attended the First Congregation United Church of Christ in Mt. Vernon. Her most prized companion was her dog, “Picasso”, rescued from the county animal shelter.

She is survived by her Father, Robert G. Crise, Sr.; brothers, Robert G. Crise, Jr., of Detroit, MI, and Bruce J. Crise, wife Lisa and their son, Owen, of Washington Grove, MD; uncles & aunts, Richard C. & Polly Crise, Admiral Thomas & Caroline Maddock, Joseph & Mary Lou Maddock, Albert Gates, and numerous cousins.

She was predeceased by her Mother, Mary M. Crise.

A graveside service will be held at Workman Cemetery in Danville at a later date. The Fischer Funeral Home in Danville is handling arrangements. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
