Emmett Sparks

Warsaw – Emmett G. Sparks, Jr., 66, passed away on Thursday February 16, 2023 at the Knox Community Hospital.

Emmett was born in San Francisco, CA on January 13, 1957 to Emmett and Mary (Trotter) Sparks. He was a member of the Perry Chapel Baptist Church and enjoyed teaching and talking about prophecy. He also enjoyed spending his time flint knapping, blacksmithing, coopering, hunting and trapping, and gardening, and was a certified Ham Radio Operator.

He is survived by his wife, Laura (Miller) Sparks, and his nephew and niece, Eric (Lauren) Sparks, and Melissa Sparks. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Chris E. Sparks; and nieces, June E. and Rachel N. Sparks.

There will be a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. Friday, February 24 at the Perry Chapel Church, 19476 TR 380 Warsaw, OH 43844. Pastor Bob Adelsperger will officiate.
