COSHOCTON- Emogene Carol (Gorby) Arnold, 86, a resident of Autumn Healthcare on Otsego Ave., died Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at the nursing home surrounded by her family.
She was born March 5, 1925 in to the late Frank and Cecile (Liston) Gorby. She married Harold E. Arnold on March 23, 1946, who preceded her in death on Oct. 13, 2007. She was a member of the Clark Township Baptist Church, and she enjoyed being around her family.
She is survived by two sons; Douglas (Cheryl) Arnold and Kent (Mary Ann) Arnold of Coshocton, six grandchildren & two step-grandchildren, Kimberly (Mark) Glazier, Tonya Arnold, Christina (Chris) Dickson, Aimee (Donnie) Jacobs, Matthew Arnold, Ashley Arnold, Susan (Mark) Brumbaugh, and Jacque (Gregg) Moorehead, seven great-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren, one step-great great-grandson, and one step-great-great-granddaughter.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Price, and a brother, Doyle Gorby.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2011 at Prairie Chapel Cemetery with Pastor Randy Gardiner officiating. The Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw is handling arrangements.
