Ernest L. Hardy, Iii

COSHOCTON- Ernest Lee Hardy, III, 53, died Sunday, July 31, 2022 at the Coshocton Regional Medical Center.

He was born April 3, 1969 in Owensboro, KY to the late Ernest Lee Hardy, Jr. and Mabel Louise Bunch Cain.

Ernie loved the outdoors, gardening and being a handyman, although he was humble about it. He claimed he wasn't good ("If we can't fix, throw it away"), but he usually was able to repair just about anything. He was a best friend to many.

He is survived by his children, Heather Hardy, Erica Centeno, Claire Hardy, Christy Hardy, Jenna Harrison and Jacob Hardy, and his wife Leslie, all of Owensboro, KY; sisters, Ann (Bill) Sammons of Coshocton, Brandy Roberts of Texas, Robin Freshwater of Owensboro, KY, and Michelle (Forest) McCannon of Owensboro, KY; a brother, Timothy Freshwater of Owensboro, KY; and several nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, 2022 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations and condolences may be submitted on Ernie’s obituary page at the funeral home website, www.fischerfuneralhome.com
