Coshocton- Evelyn Eileen Cox, 83, of 1171 Commons Dr., died Friday, August 1, 2008 at the Joel Pomerene Memorial Hospital in Millersburg.
She was born May 20, 1925 in Coshocton Co. to Ray and Hazel (Dobson) Davis. She married Victor L. Cox on April 28, 1946, whom preceded her in death on January 7, 1986. She enjoyed country music, her family, and she just enjoyed life.
She is survived by a daughter, Vonda (Denver) Gamertsfelder of Millersburg, two sons; Victor (Janie) Cox of Coshocton, and Tony (Charlene) Cox of Conesville, ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren, a sister, Shirley (Daniel) Clark of Coshocton, an aunt, Lillian Murray, and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Jerry Vaughn Cox, and a brother, Donald E. Davis.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2008 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw. Burial will follow at Coshocton Co. Memory Gardens. Calling hours are from 7-9 p.m. Monday, Aug. 4, 2008 at the funeral home.
