MT. VERNON- Evelyn Pauline Finnell, 85, formerly of Danville, died Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at The Laurels of Mt. Vernon, where she was a resident.
She was born Sept. 9, 1928 in Howard to the late Charles Clem and Hazel Marie (Scoles) Campbell. She married Charles L. Finnell, Sr. on Dec. 15, 1945, who preceded her in death on Aug. 9, 2005.
She is survived by four children; Mike Finnell of Danville, Paul (Deeann) Finnell of Columbus, Candy (Keith) Mullins of St. Louisville, and Pat Finnell of Danville, seven grandchildren; Jason, Ken, Matt, Erin, Kyle, and Cara Finnell, and Chris Mullins, and one great-grandson, Branson Finnell.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons; Randy Finnell and Charles "Flugo" Finnell, Jr., and a grandson, Cameron Mullins.
