Mount Vernon - F. Lucille Young, 90, formerly of Dublin, died Wednesday June 23, 2010 at the Ohio Eastern Star Home.
She was born February 12, 1920 in Danville to the late William A. and Helena D. (Gardner) Fesler. Lucille was married to Darwin E. Young on December 30, 1943. He preceded her in death on May 21, 2009. She was a homemaker after retiring from Ohio Edison. She was a member of the St. Luke Catholic Church in Danville.
She is survived by nieces and nephews; James C (Holly) Fesler Jr. of Earlysville, VA, Mary (Ray) Bowman of Roanoke, VA, John W. (Dawn) Fesler of Lynchburg, VA, James Banbury of Danville, John D. (Delores) Lauderbaugh of Jacksonville, FL, Joy L. (the late Bill S.) Parr, Larry L. (Betty) Lauderbaugh, L. Jean (William) Pope, Coralie (William) Reiheld, and L. Sue (Thurman) Strouse all of Danville. Also 15 great and 26 great-great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother; James C. Fesler Sr., as well as 2 sisters and a brother-in-law; Mary (Clifford) Banbury and Gertrude Fesler.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday June 28, 2010 at the St. Luke Church in Danville with Father Richard Snoke officiating. Interment will be in St. Luke Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the service.
Memorial donations can be made to the church at PO Drawer P, Danville, 43014. The Fischer Funeral Home in Danville is handling arrangements.
