Brinkhaven - Fern Janet (Gann) Leach, 87, died Thursday November 24, 2011 at the Knox Community Hospital.
She was born May 15, 1924 to the late John M. and Iva Pearl (Hoagland) Gann. She was a member of the Brinkhaven Church of Christ.
Fern is survived by her son; Michael (Kathy) Leach of Danville, her daughters; Sharon Hocker of Galion, and Patricia (Ralph) Ferry of Brinkhaven, her grandchildren; Candace (Dave) France, Shane (Heather) Leach, Ashley (Scott) Johnson, Douglas, Stephen, and Mark (Ashley) Hocker, Susanne (Brian) Kelley, Stephanie Ferry, Jami (Jason) Roundtree, and John (Theresa) Needham, and 14 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Quimby E. Leach, her daughter; Janet Needham, an infant sister, brothers; Arthur Snyder and William Gann, and a sister; Mary Yoho.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 28, 2011, at the Brinkhaven Church of Christ with Chuck Oiler officiating. Burial will follow in Brinkhaven Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 2-4 on Sunday at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
