Mount Vernon - Florence Eileen Williams, 86, a resident of Autumn Health Care, and formerly of Danville, died Monday October 1, 2012 at the Knox Community Hospital.
She was born, the youngest of 11 children, April 17, 1926 in Licking County to the late Andrew and Jessie Belle (Helphery) McFarland. She was a member of the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, and she enjoyed baking for her family.
She is survived by her sons, Robert (Susan) Mizer and William (Arlene) Mizer, both of Danville; four daughters, Nancy (Carl) Pursel of Georgetown, KY, Linda Winegardner of Mount Vernon, Carol (Wayne) Enderby of Georgetown, TN, and Pamela (Dan) Morris of Orrville, a step son, Stanley (Anna Faye) Williams of Mount Vernon, 20 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and some great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, her first husband, Robert Mizer, who she married June 1, 1943, and her second husband, Carl M. Williams, who she married December 10, 1965.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday October 5, 2012 at the Wesley Chapel Church on Chapel Rd. near Danville. Pastor Larry Houck will officiate.
