OLD TOWN, FL- Forrest J. Parsons, Sr., 87, died Feb. 20, 2016.
He was born Jan. 17, 1929 in to the late Forrest P. and Esther (Crawford) Parsons. He married Phyllis Jean (Baker) Parsons on Nov. 5, 1946. She preceded him in death on Nov. 9, 2004.
He is survived by a daughter, Jo Ellen Good; a son, Forrest "Sonny" Parsons; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a sister.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by two sons, David and Steven Parsons; and a grandson, Charlie Parsons.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 17, 2016 at Prairie Township Cemetery in Holmesville. The Fischer Funeral Home in Danville is handling arrangements.
