Frank H. Graves

      COSHOCTON- Frank Hanley Graves, 87, passed away Monday, Aug. 11, 2025 at his residence surrounded by family.

      He was born May 30, 1938 in Huntington, WV to the late James and Elizabeth (Rowe) Graves. A veteran of the US Navy, Frank served four years between the USS Lake Champlain, USS Enterprise, & USS Forrestal. He was a farmer, and spent 40+ years as an over-the-road truck driver, including several years as owner/operator of his own rig. He enjoyed playing cards, and participating in bowling leagues in his younger years. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, and person. And above all, he loved the Lord.

      He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Vess) Graves of Coshocton, whom he married March 19, 1977; three children, Diana (Kevin) Baker of Mt. Vernon, Beth (Brent) McPhillen of Dresden, and Becky Graves of Columbus; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

      In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three children, Ricky Brewer, Terry Lee Graves, and Kathy Graves; four brothers; five sisters; and his former wife, Anna Lee (Brewer) Graves.

      Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, Aug. 15, 2025 at Fischer Funeral Home in Danville, with Pastor Ken Springer officiating. Burial will follow in Workman Cemetery, with graveside military rites performed by the Knox Co. Joint Veterans Council Honor Guard. Calling hours are Thursday evening, Aug. 14th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
