Brinkhaven - Frank J. Matheny, 31, died Thursday January 1, 2009.
He was born November 14, 1977 in Cleveland to Dagmar Louise (Petrella) and Ricky Lee Matheny. He married J. Brooke (Thorp) on October 19, 2002. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved playing and watching football.
He is survived by his wife; J. Brooke Matheny and daughter; Gracie, his parents; Rick and Dagmar Matheny, brothers; Ricki and Vic Matheny, grandparents; Victor and Margaret Matheny, nieces; Kayla Matheny and Mikayla Little, nephews; Kody Matheny, and Gage and Gaven Little, and sister-in-law; Robin Lint.
He was preceded in death by grandparents; Richard and Trixie Petrella, aunt; Patricia Petrella, and in-laws; Gregg and Diane Thorp.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday January 6, 2009 at the Millwood Church of Christ. Evangelist Dave Jones will officiate. Burial will be in Workman Cemetery in Danville. Calling hours will be at the church from 5-8:00 P.M. Monday.
Memorial donations can be made at any First Knox Bank for Gracie Matheny. The Fischer Funeral Home in Danville is handling arrangements.
