Columbus - Franklin Delano Chapman, Jr., 42, died Friday November 22 at St. Ann's Hospital.
He was born on March 4, 1971 in Columbus to Betty Jane (Ratliff) and Franklin Delano Chapman, Sr. On October 9, 1991, he was married to Eva Brannan. He loved working on cars in his free time, Michigan football, and playing with his grandson and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Eva Chapman of Columbus, sons; Chris Brannan and Franklin "Junior" Chapman of Columbus, daughters; Sarah Chapman, and Deanna "Deejay" Chapman both of Columbus, and Kara Chapman of Sunbury, grandson, James Chapman, sisters; Edna (Mike) Hedrick of Greer, and Geneva (Martin) McAvoy of Danville, brothers; Ken (Sue) Light, and Jim (Glenna) Light both of Columbus, David Light of Millersburg, and Mark Chapman of Levittown, PA, 15 nieces and nephews, and 15 great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty, and a brother, Johnny Light.
