Gary A. Pace

April 29, 1950 — December 2, 2013

WARSAW- Gary A. Pace, 63, of TR 341, died Monday, Dec. 2, 2013 on his property as the result of a hunting accident.

He was born April 29, 1950 in Cortland, NY to the late Amadeo and Lorna (Carvin) Pace. After earning a bachelor's degree, he was employed by the National Parks Service as a Park Ranger, and later a detective and criminal investigator. He was also a firearms instructor. He loved hunting, fishing, woodworking, cooking, and spending time with his family and friends. He loved his children and his dog, and was a wonderful husband and father. Everyone who knew him loved him more than anything. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Linda (Oberholtz) Pace of Warsaw, whom he married July 18, 1992. Also surviving are his children; Jessica (Mark) Alessandro of Cleveland, and Joshua Pace of Chicago, two sisters; Kathy Ellis of Clarksburg, MD and Janet (Donald) Hathaway of Deruyter, NY, a brother, Matthew (Carolyne) Pace of Fairport, NY, and several nieces and nephews.
