MT. VERNON- Glen Edward Price, 58, walked with the Lord into the loving arms of his wife, Rebecca, after passing away at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
He was born Aug. 20, 1958 in Mt. Vernon to James D. and Mary Ellen (Severns) Price. He was a 1977 graduate of Wynford High School, where he excelled as a football player. He worked for many years in auto salvage. He will be remembered by his boisterous spirit, that you could guarantee would liven up any room. Glen was an avid drinker and dancer, who always lived life to the fullest. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Price; a son, Joseph (Amy) Stander; three daughters, Trina Johnson, Amy Stander, and Jennifer (Shane) Shearn; fourteen grandchildren, Kevin Stander, Doug Yoder, Tyler Yoder, Katrina Yoder, Kaitlyn Yoder, Rebecca Yoder, Keisha Yoder, Katelyn Stander, Briana Stander, Sabrina Stander, Autumn Stander, Zabrielle Stander, Brock Stander, and Keaton Stander; eight great-grandchildren plus one expected; two sisters, Hazel Durst and Claudia (Jeff) Tatro; six brothers, James (Sally) Price, John Price (girlfriend Joyce), Kenny (Judy) Price, Paul (Christine) Price, David (Sandy) Price, and Donnie (Jetty) Price; and several nieces and nephews. Celebrating a life gone but not forgotten. We love you, Glen.
In addition to his wife, Rebecca Sue (Lawrence) Price, he is preceded in death by his father, James D. Price; a brother-in-law, Mike Lawrence; and a sister-in-law, Christine Price.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2017 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. Visitation is from 12:00 p.m. until service time. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 2nd at Workman Cemetery in Danville. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
