Glen "Buck" Ferenbaugh, Jr.

Howard – Glen “Buck” Ferenbaugh, Jr., 89, died at home on Monday May 5, 2025.

Buck was born in Danville on July 19, 1935. He was one of 14 children of Glenn D. and Ferol M. (Payne) Ferenbaugh. He was a lifetime member of the Local 18 Ohio Operating Engineers. He was a heavy equipment operator.  He also loved hunting, playing in pool and euchre club and poker tournaments, and was active in his golf league, recording a couple of holes-in-one.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Rosalie Boyce, Marilla Thorpe, Lucy Greer, and Twila Colopy; brothers, Clyde, Ed, Rodney, and Robert Ferenbaugh; and a brother-in-law, Stephen Remick.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years in June, Martha (Remick) Ferenbaugh; sons, Douglas (Connie) and David (Wendy) Ferenbaugh; daughter, Angela (Peter) Arbogast; grandchildren, Zachary Ferenbaugh, Dakota Workman, Logan Ferenbaugh, Kylie Stokes, and Garrett Stokes; sisters, Kay Weyhmeller, Helen Grassbaugh, and Carol (Bill) Grassbaugh; brothers, Albert (Denise) and Gerald Ferenbaugh; sister-in-law, Barbara (Ernie) Kocher; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will take place on Thursday, May 8, at 11:00 a.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. Pastor Anne Hughes will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens with a luncheon following at the Millwood Church of Christ, 10900 Millersburg Rd. Howard 43028. Calling hours will be from 5-7:00 Wednesday evening.
