Danville - Glenna Belle Addair, 82, died Friday June 5, 2009 at the Ohio Eastern Star Nursing Home in Mount Vernon.
She was born March 2, 1927 in Bradshaw, WV to Noah and Mary (Harmon) Coleman. She was a school teacher and a lifelong housewife. Glenna was a member of the Church of Christ in Garland, WV, and attended the Danville Church of Christ.
She is survived by 8 sons; Wayne (Darlene) of North Springs, WV, Darrell (Eva) of Davy, WV, Arnold (Sharon), Leck Jr., and Michael (Jane) all of Danville, Dennis (Melanie) of Mount Vernon, and Marty (Linda), Kenny (Joy) Addair of Howard. She also has 24 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 4 brothers; Sonia and Glen (Alice) Coleman of Bradshaw, WV, John (Deloras) of Bucyrus, and Raymond (Imogene) Coleman of Princeton, WV.
She was preceded in death by her husband Leck Addair, Sr. on October 18, 1996. They were married on June 15, 1946. Also deceased are 2 sisters; Juanita Whaley and Othella Chafin, 4 brothers; Alva, Gleason, Eugene, and Noah Coleman, Jr., and a grandson; Brent Allen Addair.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday June 9, 2009 at the Danville Church of Christ. Evangelist Stan Ratliff will officiate. Burial will be in Workman Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 4- 7:00 on Monday at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville.
