Mount Vernon - Gloria E. Sapp, 87, died Monday October 5, 2009 at the Ohio Eastern Star Home where she was a resident.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Don C. Sapp.
She is survived by two daughters; Diane (Ray) Dean of Carrizozo, NM, and Linda (Joe) Ullery of Roswell, GA, a son; Roger (Karen) of Kent, OH, grandchildren; Laura (Butch) Taylor of Lakeland, FL, Scott Dean of Albuquerque, NM, Mark (Amy) Dean of Sharon Center, OH, Kim (Erik) Stock of Columbus, OH, Serenity Sapp, and Roger Donovan Sapp both of Kent, OH, and six great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday October 10, 2009 at the Danville United Methodist Church, with Pastor Jason Humble will officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the O. E. S. Home Endowment Fund; 1451 Gambier Rd. Mount Vernon, OH 43050, or to the Danville U.M.C.; P.O. Box 36 Danville, OH 43014.
The Fischer Funeral Home in Danville is handling arrangements.
