DANVILLE - Harry Tilton Dunn, 80, of 21590 Beck Road died September 18, 2010 at the Colonial Manor Health Care Center in Loudonville.

He was born May 23, 1930 in Jelloway to the late Tilton and Zella (Goon) Dunn.

Harry was a farmer and retired from the former Hart's Department Store in Mount Vernon. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Jelloway United Methodist Church, Loudonville American Legion, & the VFW of Mount Vernon. He attended the Mount Vernon DAV and was a 1948 graduate of Danville High School. He enjoyed woodworking, loved farming and his animals.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Daniels) Dunn, who he married April 21, 1956. Also surviving is a son Harry Michael (Connie) Dunn of Prospect, OH. Four grandchildren, Vicki, Nicole, Nicholas, & Hollie Dunn. A brother-in-law, Dwight Daniels of Mount Vernon and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother, Faye Nordyke, Ruth Sleeman, Earl Dunn, Lois Daniels, & Woneta Cheuvront.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Jelloway United Methodist Church with Revs. Jack Dearth & John Clouston officiating. Burial will be in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery at Danville with graveside military services conducted by the Knox County Joint Veterans Council. Visitation is Tuesday, September 21, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville.
