Warsaw- Harry Ray McGrew, 71, of 23548 TR 375 died suddenly on Dec. 1, 2009 at his residence.
He was born July 23, 1938 in Poca, WV to the late Clayton and Virgie (Persinger) McGrew. He married Laura (Jackson) Mcgrew on Nov. 17, 1962, who survives. He was a NASCAR fan, and also enjoyed helping his neighbors and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Laura McGrew of Warsaw, a daughter, Susan McGrew of Warsaw, a grandson, Matthew Robinette of Warsaw, a brother, Homer (Linda) McGrew of Fredericktown, several nieces and nephews, and a brother-in-law, Olin McClanahan of Poca, WV.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Ann McClanahan.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009 at Darling Run Cemetery with Pastor Ron Davis officiating. Calling hours are from 4-6 p.m. on Friday at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw.
