Millersburg - Hattie Francis (Davis) Keener, 90, died Wednesday April 3, 2013 at the Majora Lane Care Center.
She was born in Valley Fork, WV to the late John Alvin and Glen Dora (Starcher) Davis on April 24, 1922. On February 27, 1939, she married Forster William Keener. He preceded her in death in 1981. She was also preceded in death by a brother and sister. She was a member of the Greer Wesleyan Church.
Surviving are her children, Alvin (Doris) Keener of Danville, Robert Keener of Howard, Calvin (Linda) Keener of Smithville, Frank (Jodi) Keener of Greer, Michael (Patricia) Keener of Apple Creek, Margie Lovell of Killbuck, Shirley (Ronald) Proper of Millersburg, Judy (Richard) Addy of Centerville, and Clara (David) Williams of Greer, a sister, Justine Morris of Charleston, WV, and 125 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. Pastor Don Hosier will be officiating. Burial will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery in Glenmont. Calling hours are from 6-8 on Friday and one hour prior to the service Saturday. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
