COSHOCTON - Helen Maxine Baker, 85, a resident of Autumn Health Care and formerly of Warsaw died June 5, 2009 at the care center.

She was born June 23, 1923 in Killbuck to the late Charles F. and Lula Mae (Donaldson) Schonauer.

She was a protestant by faith. She was a member of REACT, the senior center and loved her crafts.

She is survived by a daughter, Ruth (Gene) Mason of Warsaw. Two sons, Brice (Cindy) Baker of Newark and Rocky (Tammy) Baker of South Zanesville. Seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. A sister, Oris Thompson Shearn of Newark. Two brothers, Denver (Donna) Schonauer of Killbuck and Gary (Kathy) Schonauer of Newark.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee O. Baker. A great granddaughter, Elizabeth Baker, a sister, Lucile Randles, and five brothers, John, George, LeRoy, Charles, and Glen Schonauer.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 7, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Rev. Ron Little officiating. Visitation is Saturday, June 6, 2009 from 6-8 P.M. A graveside service will be held Monday, June 8, 2009 at 12:00 P.M. at the Sherwood Memorial Park in Wooster.
