WEST LAFAYETTE- Helen Garnet (Davis) Conrad, 91, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2026 surrounded by her loving family at Lafayette Pointe Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, where she had been a resident.
Helen was born Aug. 30, 1934 in West Bedford, daughter to the late Howard N. “Pete” and Minnie Lee (Ice) Davis. She was a 1952 graduate of Union High School, and attended the Columbus Office Training School, and Muskingum Area Technical College.
She married Robert E. Conrad on Oct. 11, 1953. He preceded her in death May 9, 1999. She was an executive secretary in the sales department at Clow Water Systems, where she retired after 32 years of service. She was a member of Roscoe United Methodist Church, the Ohio Order of the Eastern Star #157, and the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She was also a charter member of the Coshocton Campers Club. She enjoyed walking, mowing her yard, planting flowers and being outside.
Helen is survived by a daughter, Jill R. (Craig) Bolitho; two granddaughters, Carley R. Bolitho, and Kelsey J. (Justin) Duhamell; great-grandchildren, Kennedy R. Bolitho, Colt A. Duhamell, and bonus great-grandchildren, Cash and Adley Duhamell.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Robert E. Conrad II (July 11, 1958); a grandson, Kyle Bolitho (Oct. 24, 2013); one brother; and three sisters.
Per Helen’s wishes, she was cremated and a private burial took place beside her husband at Valley View Cemetery in Warsaw. Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw assisted with arrangements. FischerFuneralHome.com
