Brinkhaven - Helen Cecile Gorsuch, 98, formerly of Gambier, died Wednesday February 29, 2012 at the Majora Lane Care Center in Millersburg.
She was born September 19, 1913 in Licking County to the late Amzie and Minnie Hunter.
She is survived by a daughter; Jo Anne (Kelly) Neal, her grandson; Richard W. (Nancy) Neal, her granddaughter; Patricia (Barry) Sutherland, her great grandsons; Richard D. (Gwen) Neal, and Michael James Neal, her great granddaughter; Rachael Lynne Neal, a sister-in-law; Ida Mae Hunter, and many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her husband; Dwight F. Gorsuch in 1983, and 4 brothers; Alfred, George, infant brother Frederick, and Robert.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday March 3, 2012 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. Clarence Lawson will be officiating. Burial will follow in Union Grove Cemetery on Grove Church Rd. near Gambier. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
