WEST LAFAYETTE- Helen P. (Carpenter) Sells, 85, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017 at Lafayette Pointe Nursing & Rehabilitation, where she was a resident.
She was born Dec. 11, 1931 in Coshocton Co. to the late Lewis and Sarah (Elliott) Carpenter. On March 14, 1953, she married James H. Sells, who preceded her in death on Aug. 28, 1985.
She is survived by two sons; George Earl Sells, a resident of Lafayette Pointe in West Lafayette, and James Everett (Shirley) Sells of West Lafayette. She has two sisters living, Margaret (John) Darr and Betty (Jack) Mowery; six grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Jordan Casteel, an infant sister, Wilma, and a brother, Lewis Carpenter.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017 at New Castle Cemetery, with Pastor Ron Davis officiating. The Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw is handling arrangements. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
