I. Craig Ward

Danville – Irvin Craig Ward, a loving husband and father, passed away at the age of 57 on Thursday February 27, 2020 at the Knox Community Hospital.

Craig was born August 2, 1962. He was the son of Arthur C. and Jettie Lodema (Christian) Ward. He served in the U.S. Air Force where he was stationed in Germany. He was a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa (McIlvoy) Ward, his mother, J. Lodema Ward, his sister, Linda (Tony) Mickley, his niece and nephew, Addison and Aidan Mickley, and his mother and father-in-law, Debbie and Neil McIlvoy.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur, his son, John Edward Ward, and a brother, Sammuel Ward.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 3 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bladensburg Church of Christ. Ben McKinstry will officiate. Burial will follow in Bladensburg Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 5-7 Monday evening at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville.
