Irma Ankrum

WEST LAFAYETTE- Irma V. (Foaker) Ankrum, 93, died Monday, March 19, 2018 at Signature Healthcare in Coshocton.

She was born the youngest of ten children on Dec. 15, 1924 in Salesville, OH to the late Aultman and Alma (Britton) Foraker.  She was a lifelong member of the Eastern Star.  She loved crafts especially painting and woodworking.  She also enjoyed genealogy tracing her family history to the late 1600s.

She is survived by her son Richard (Patricia) Tilton of Lake Elsinore, CA; her daughter Flora (Lester) Marlatt of Fredricktown, OH; a step son, Mike (Martha) Ankrum of Wilmington, NC; a step daughter, Cathy (Richard) Miller of Columbus;  eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren who loved their grandmother dearly.

She was preceded in by death Bruce Ankrum, her husband of nearly 35 years, her parents, her nine siblings, and a granddaughter, Susan Marlatt.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Mar. 24, 2018 at Coshocton Co. Memory Gardens with Pastor Ron Davis officiating.  The Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw is handling arrangements.  www.fischerfuneralhome.com
