WARSAW - Jack Edward Lewis, 65, of 424 E. Main St., died Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at his residence.

He was born April 15, 1943 in Baltimore, MD to Joseph R. and Doris (Brodski) Lewis. Jack was in the car business for 40 years and was the owner/operator of Jack Lewis Auto Sales in Warsaw. He attended the Warsaw United Methodist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the American Legion Post #65 in Coshocton. Jack enjoyed his family and friends and truly loved his time spent on the beach with family and friends in Ft. Myers, FL.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. (Kanuckel) Fischer Lewis, whom he married Feb. 7, 1990. Also surviving is a son, Brian (Christa) Lewis of Waldalgesheim, Germany. Two daughters, Betty (Loren) Lindig of West Lafayette and Barbara (Stan) Popelar of Lovespark, IL. 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. His mother, Doris Farmer of Baltimore, MD. Two brothers, John (Ruthann) Lewis of Grove City and Jerome (Haila) Lewis of Arcadia, FL. Four sisters, Sandra (Tom) Sellers of Shenandoah Junction, WV, Debra Portera, Lynnie (Rob) Borkman, and Mildred Bileck of Baltimore, MD. Two step sons, Gary (Michelle) Fischer and Nick (Patti) Fischer of Warsaw. 6 step grandsons and 4 step great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, two brothers, Joe & James Lewis and a step grandson, Jordan R. Fischer.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2009 at the Warsaw United Methodist Church with Rev. Ron Little and Rev. Dariel Kaiser officiating. Interment will follow in Valley View Cemetery with graveside military services conducted by the Coshocton County Joint Veterans Council. Calling hours are from 1-3 & 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2009 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, and also one hour prior to service time on Saturday.
