Howard - Jack C. Scoles, 65, died Tuesday April 21, 2009 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
He was born in Howard on February 16, 1944 to Raymond and Bessie M. (Campbell) Scoles. On December 9, 1961, he married Mary Sue Mavis. He was former employee at Wenco, the Mount Vernon News, and Pittsburgh Plate and Glass.
He is survived by his wife; Mary Sue Scoles of Howard, his children; Joe Scoles of Howard, Samantha Scoles of Mt. Vernon, and Brad Scoles of Howard, grandchildren; Jack ""JJ" Scoles (Darby Smith), Steven Scoles, Christina Carr (Seth Morrison), Mark and Will Lawson, and Wade Snyder, great grandchildren; Connor Michael Morrison, and Reece Scoles, and nephews; Rodney, Larry, and Scott Summerfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister; June Summerfield, sons; Robert Raymond and Mike Scoles, and a granddaughter; Tasha Scoles.
An informal memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday April 25, 2009 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. Visiting will begin 2 hours prior to the memorial.
