Jade McGowan

        MT. VERNON- Jade McGowan, age 71, loving mother of two sons, passed peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends. She was carried by her angel into the arms of her Savior Jesus during the early morning hours on the 9th of December, 2025.

       Jade was born August 2nd, 1954 in Wooster, Ohio, to the late Virgil Sowards and Golda (Fish) Sowards, and was the youngest of seven children. She was a member of Visions of Fellowship Church in Danville, Ohio.

       Jade loved animals, her dog Cocoa, tending to her flowers, and enjoyed the outdoors. Mostly, she cherished time spent with her family and friends. She was a member of the Amvets Memorial Post 95 in Mount Vernon, Ohio.

       She is survived by her two sons, Ralph Beach of Massillon, and Robert (Tracy) Beach of Howard, Ohio; grandchildren, Cody (Skylar), Krista, Mason, Natasha, Shannon, Dakota, Ralina (Dougie), and Brandon; and great grandchildren, Jude, Finn, Boone, Bella, Wynter, and Wesley.

       In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her five siblings, Norma, Wanda, Dolly, Jeanie, and Jerry; as well as her daughter-in-law, Tina Beach.

       Visitation will take place at Fischer Funeral Home, 403 High St. Danville, OH 43014 on Sunday, Dec. 14, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. FischerFuneralHome.com
