COSHOCTON - James Richard Tumblin, 62, of N 15th St died Feb. 15, 2011 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
He was born April 9, 1948 in Coshocton to Charles Robert and Betty Louise (Wilson) Tumblin.
He was a construction worker for many years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. He was a member of the Coshocton Gun Club, VFW #2040, and
the NRA.
He is survived by his wife, Shelia (Wilhelm) Tumblin, who he married March 22, 1969. Also surviving is his mother, Betty Tumblin of Coshocton. A son, Chad (Kim) Tumblin of Coshocton. A daughter, Angie Tumblin of Coshocton. Four grandchildren, Zack, Kelsey, Spencer, and Brayden. Three brothers, Terry (Fran) Tumblin, Greg (Sue) Tumblin, and Mike Tumblin all of Coshocton and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles R. Tumblin.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Rev. Philip Hunt officiating. Burial will be in the Darling Run Cemetery at Warsaw with graveside military services conducted by the Coshocton County Joint Veterans Council. Visitation is Friday, Feb. 18, 2011 from 5-8 p.m. and until service time on Saturday.
