WARSAW - Jean Marie Mercer Mosholder Durben, 71, of 42686 TR 1153 died Sunday, November 30, 2008 at her son's residence.

She was born Sept. 18, 1937 in Coshocton County to the late Forrest Lee and Erma Lucille (Beatty) Mercer. She was a homemaker and a cook for River View High School. She was a member of the New Castle United Methodist Church and God's Eternal Love Fellowship. A 50 year member of Guilford Temple Pythian Sisters, Warsaw O.E.S. , and the Walhonding Grange. She loved family above all, and also loved gardening, farming, and helping others. She was deeply loved and will be missed by all her special friends that visited clear to the end when she was surrounded by family to help her go be in the arms of our Lord!

She is survived by her husband, Wilbur Eugene Durben, whom she married July 21, 1985. Also surviving is a son, Michael (Gloria) Mosholder of Walhonding. A daughter, Raejean (Mark) Mills of Walhonding. Step son, David (Joanie) Durben of Coshocton. A step daughter, Kathy (Terry) Balo of Conesville. Grandchildren, Brian Mosholder, Edward (Carrie) Mosholder, Denise (Ron) Geog, Matt Mills, Michelle (Rob) Dorsey, Kurt Mills. Great grandchildren, Haley, Chase, Dyson, Macey, Chloey, and Summer. Step grandchildren, Deena, Bryan, Jeremiah, Corey, & Nathan. A brother, Max (Ann) Mercer of Walhonding. Two sisters, Ruie (Russell) Smith of Walhonding and Janet (Paul) Doughty of Adams Mills.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Vaughn Mosholder. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 4, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Pastors John & Sharon Kirch and Ben McKinstry officiating. Burial will be in the New Castle Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008 from 5-8 P.M. and until service time on Thursday.
