Jeannie L. Samples

DANVILLE-Juanita “Jeannie” L. Samples, 81, went home to be with her Lord and savior Monday, February 1, 2016.
She was born March 13, 1934 in West Virginia. On December 26, 1957, she married William C. Samples, Sr., who preceded her in death on December 10, 2001. Jeannie was a member of the Danville Grace Brethren Church where she was very involved in their outreach programs, including food and clothing giveaways. She was also an avid flower gardener, and her favorite hobby was making wreaths and floral arrangements.
Her greatest joy in life though was her family. She deeply loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed.
Surviving is her daughter, Cindy Lampley of Danville, a son, Bill (Linda) Samples of Danville, a step daughter, Linda (Bill) Eisma of Gambier, grandchildren; Matthew (Sara) Samples, and Tyrel (Jenny) Samples of Danville, Shannon (Troy) Findley of Mount Vernon, Michelle Stewart Carter of Bexley, Mark (Andrea) Eisma of Worthington, and Maria (Jimmy) Nussbaum of Mount Vernon, great grandchildren; Maya, Laynie, Madelyn, Maycee, Will, Jackson, Coby, Max, Jimmy, Juliann, David, Briana, Andre’, Mari, and Mia, sisters-in-law; Louise, Patsy, and Margie Samples of Danville, and a brother-in-law, Ronald Samples of Howard, and her beloved canine companion “CC”.
In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Wilburn Cisco.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 4 at the Danville Grace Brethren Church. Pastor Dennis Eggerton will officiate. Burial will follow in Workman Cemetery. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service. Memorial donations can be made to the Outreach Programs at the Danville Grace brethren Church, 302 E. Ross St. Danville, 43014.
