Jeffery Curry

Danville – Jeffery A. Curry, 63, passed away at home on Wednesday June 26, 2024.

He was born in Mount Vernon on October 21, 1960 to James “Bud” and Marjorie (Tindall) Curry, who preceded him in death. He was a Marine Corps Veteran, serving for 12 years. He was a very outdoors kind of man. He was an avid fisher and hunter, including mushrooms, he loved riding the back roads on his side-by-side, having fires, shooting his guns, listening to music, and hanging out with his family and friends.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Meghan (Callahan) Curry; children, Amber (Corey) Jensen, Colton Curry (Addie Brown), Jarred Curry (Sutton Black), Cade Curry; grandchildren, Alec Johnson, Ava Jensen, Kasen Jensen, Levi Jensen, Cora Jensen, Brixley Curry; siblings, Terri (Bob) Johnson, Amy (Pat) Mickley, Rob (Jackie) Curry; father and mother-in-law, Tom and Linda Callahan, brother-in-law, Matt (Beth) Callahan, sister-in-law, Erin (Bob) O’Meara, and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will take place at 11:00 Monday, July 1, at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. Rev. William Pellum will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens, where the Knox County Veterans Honor Guard will conduct military rites. Calling hours will be from 2-4:00 Sunday afternoon.
