HOWARD- Jessie Irvin Wilson, 66, of Clipse Rd., died Friday, Nov. 6, 2015 at his residence.
He was born Feb. 12, 1949 in Columbus to the late Albert M. and Gloria E. (Gray) Wilson. He served in the U.S. Army from 1969-1971. He was a member of the Mt. Vernon Amvets Post #95, and Eagles Aerie #760. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by three children; Rick (Brenda) Turbeville of Mt. Vernon, Cindy (Leonard) Rice of Killbuck, and Jessie Turbeville of Mt. Vernon, a sister; Jacqueline Wilson of Mt. Vernon, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, several nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews, a sister-in-law, Hildegard Liston of Virginia, and a special friend, Lauretta Beltz of Howard.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers; Edward F. Liston, and Albert Wilson.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. Burial will follow in Workman Cemetery, with graveside military rites performed by the Knox Co. Joint Veterans Council Honor Guard.
