Brinkhaven - Jimmy Lee Harris, 66, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at his residence.
He was born February 9, 1949 in Council, VA to Stewart and Maggie V. (Baldwin) Harris. He married Kathaleen Hammons on July 1, 1977. Jimmy was a former coal miner, and loved his 2 dogs and enjoyed riding his ATV.
He is survived by his wife, Kathaleen, of Brinkhaven, a brother, Bobby Harris of Council, VA, two sisters; Shirley Hess of Honaker, VA, and Betty White of Fries, VA, and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Jimmy's wishes were to return to his family cemetery in Grissom Creek, VA with no funeral services. The burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2015 if anyone wishes to be present and share a few memories. There will be calling hours from 5-7 p.m. on Friday at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
