Mount Vernon - JoAnn Workman, 79, formerly of Danville, died Friday August 27, 2010 at Hillen Vale.
She was born March 9, 1931 to Blanche (Carlisle) and Alvin Baird Ronk. On September 24, 1950 she was married to Edwin W. Workman. She was a member of the Danville Church of Christ, and the Ohio Eastern Star. She enjoyed gardening and attending her granddaughters' activities.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ed, on September 28, 2000, brothers; Baird, Frederick, and Murray Ronk, and a sister; Edith McCoy.
JoAnn is survived by her sons; Steve (Melody) Workman of Wooster, and Mike (Paula) Workman of Granville, 3 granddaughters; Audrey Workman, Morgan (Michael) Lantz, and Kinsea Workman, and a brother; Richard Ronk of Mansfield.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday August 30, 2010 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. Dean Hammond will be officiating. Burial will follow in Workman Cemetery in Danville. Calling hours will be from 6-8 on Sunday.
