Joanne M. Powers

WARSAW- Joanne Mary Powers, 63, passed away Friday, July 27, 2018 at her residence.

She was born Nov. 26, 1954 in Austin, TX to the late Burndetta Iva (Andrews) Cannon and Dale Duane Cannon, Sr.

She enjoyed antiquing, crafts, sewing and making dolls. Her hummingbird feeders brought her great joy, as did spending time with her grandchildren and watching them play football and cheer. She loved to head to the camper from time to time.  Her favorite holiday was the 4th of July. She would always try to make a big meal and gather her whole family to spend the day and watch the fireworks display.

She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey D. Powers, Sr. of Warsaw; four sons, Jeffrey D. Powers, Jr. (Gloria) of Akron, Derek (Michelle) Powers of Killbuck, Jonathan L. Powers of Wooster, and Devin W. Powers (Megan) of Akron; eight grandchildren, Kelsey, Myia, Hope, Ciara, Courtney, Dalton, Madison, and Devin Jr.; four brothers, Dale, Harold, Carl, and Harry; six sisters, Diane, Sandra, Barbara, Frances, Charlotte, and Pamela; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Hope Lea Powers; and a sister, Pearl.
